Elgin, IL - Proof of Vaccination is Required
Evurahr Theatre Company, is putting on a production of Beowulf at the Elgin Arts Showcase this April.
Beowulf is a European legend from the Dark Ages. It is a story of duty and honor. It is a human story. Part of the concept for the show is to open the roles to actors of all identities. While the roles themselves will still be men of Dark Age Scandanavia, anyone is invited and welcome to audition.
Auditions will be held in office 617 of the Elgin Professional Building [164 Division St., Elgin, IL, 60120]. Please do not prepare a monologue. Follow the link to the company's website. There is a script for the auditions. Select a character that speaks to you, or the role you are seeking. At the auditions: actors will be called in groups of 4, based on their selection. We will read through the scene, and have a brief discussion afterward.
