The Round Barn Theatre of Nappanee, IN is seeking musical theatre performers to fill paid-positions for our 2021 season. Please see the info below for types of contracts and production dates and schedules. All auditions will be accepted via video submission. Callbacks will be scheduled by in-person appointment (if available) beginning in January of 2021. To submit, please visit the bottom of the page for details. Contract Offerings:
Core Cast: The Core Cast will be contracted for 45 weeks (beginning in March and going to December 31, 2021). Being a member of the core cast doesn't necessarily mean you'll have a lead each show, but it means you'll be contracted in each show. While for most shows a core cast member will be acting, it is possible to have a different assignment (ASM, Crew, Etc). A core cast contract would receive a weekly pay rate and some of the contracts would include housing. Note, we're still finalizing housing details for 2021, so we're unsure on how many we will be able to house at this time. We'll continue to give updates on housing throughout the casting process.
Non-Core Cast: Non-Core cast members will be essential for the casting of each show. While this position does not include housing, it does include a stipend that will be paid per-show performed. Again, this doesn't mean that you wouldn't be considered for a lead, etc. Think of this more as an A La Carte contract, where you could have a few different shows booked, but not all 6. This contract is just a bit more flexible.

What to Submit for Audition:
To submit an audition, please visit www.roundbarntheatre.com/audition. Please prepare two contrasting musical theatre pieces to submit on the audition form on our website, as well as a headshot. Each song should be no longer than 1 minute in length. Please include a full-body slate at the beginning of your video submission.
