PUT ON YOUR COSTUMES, TURN OFF THE LIGHTS, AND BRACE YOURSELF FOR LAUGHTER....Spend your Halloween week with Monologic Mad Scientist Jim Fitzmorris on the scariest island of them all…the 1970s.
Buckets of brains, riders without seatbelts, evil ventriloquist dummies, and Supertramp 8-tracks populate an island where the sun goes down early and the games linger late. An affectionate and creepy look at a childhood in New Orleans, The Island of Dr. Fitzmorris is the latest comic monologue from a performer The Times-Picayune's Ted Mahne calls "electric".
Where: Mid-City Theatre 3540 Toulouse Street (504) 488-1460
When: October 30 - November 2 (all shows at 8pm)
