Rivertown Theaters presents the younger set favorite Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! The Musical on the Main Stage, December 1 - 10.

The producers of Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts continue their commitment to showcase and develop the talents of budding local thespians with the very special production based on the popular children's book. The delightful musical will feature young performers from around the metropolitan New Orleans area. Cast members will be in the lobby after the show for a meet and greet with the audience.

Junie B. Jones, First-Grader, is super-excited about the upcoming Holiday Sing-PLOT Along and Secret Santa gift exchange at her school. Too bad tattletale May keeps ruining all of Junie B.'s fun. So when Junie B. draws May's name for Secret Santa, she comes up with the perfect plan to teach her nemesis a lesson! But will the Christmas spirit of peace and goodwill interfere before she can give you-know- who what she deserves? A hilarious and endearing tale based on the best-selling book series by Barbara Park. Suitable for boys and girls age 4 and up.

Performances will take place at Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts, 325 Minor St. in the heart of Rivertown, Kenner LA Plenty of parking on the streets around the theater.

The schedule of performances is as follows: 1ST week Dec. 1 at 7pm, Dec. 2 at 2pm & 7pm and Dec. 3 at 2pm 2nd week Dec. 8 at 7pm, Dec. 9 at 2pm & 7pm and Dec. 10 at 2pm.

Tickets are $15.00 General Admission. Everyone needs a ticket for admittance and the productions are recommended for ages 4 and over. Parents should use their discretion when deciding what shows are appropriate for children.

The mission of Theatre 13 is to bring new and exciting productions to the New Orleans area while providing local theater artists an opportunity to perform and create, as well as teach and showcase the talents of children of all ages.
