Kleines Requiem was hailed, at its premiere in 1996, as one of the highlights of the rich oeuvre of choreographer and former artistic director Hans van Manen. Also featured in this programme, is new work by associate choreographer Crystal Pite. The Canadian star has twelve awards to her name and her own company: Kidd Pivot. Choreographer Sharon Eyal and DJ Gai Behar, revelation of Israeli dance, made their NDT debut last season with the ethereal Sara, performed on hypnotic electronic sounds.
