The Art of Teambuilding uses the beauty and artistry of classical ballet partnering skills to present a unique perspective on strengthening your team. Utilizing the story The Eagle and the Wren by Jane Goodall as a backdrop for the pas de deux (or dance for two), this powerful presentation will inspire creative team building, in addition to entertaining and motivating. Following the performance, the dancers will assist in a series of innovative teambuilding activities for enhancing problem solving and reaching shared goals.
The seminar, designed for adult, college or high school participants, is an innovative way to introduce teambuilding concepts in any setting: staff or board of director's retreat, worship groups, high school clubs or volunteer organizations. Cathy Ratliff, Nashville Ballet Director of Education, says, " We are proud to offer our first adult curriculum-based dance program which is focused on the importance of teambuilding. By targeting an issue that adults tackle each day, we hope to challenge people's perceptions, using the arts as a means for social and mental growth."
The Art of Teambuilding seminar lasts 45 minutes and is available during normal business/school hours with some evenings and weekends, upon request. Nashville Ballet is accepting reservations now for bookings beginning January 3, 2011, through May 15, 2011. Cost is $300. For more information or to book this seminar for your group, call 615-297-2966, ext. 17, or email cratliff@nashvilleballet.com.
