JOAT Festival International de Street Dance at Quartier des Spectacles / Place des Arts / Club Soda

The largest street dance festival of its kind in the Americas returns with a week of Breaking, Hip Hop and Popping battles, music composer battles, free introductory street dance workshops, master classes, conferences, and an art market. Artistic director Handy Yacinthe presents both local and internationally acclaimed performers, with judges including Mr Wiggles, Acky, and DJ FLEG. More than 250 dancers are expected to compete in the Prelims, leading to a final battle at Club Soda. The festival also features the JOAT KidzBattle, CHŌRA, DECYPHER, and Dialogue avec l'histoire events.
