Blues Singer Caroline Fe Returns to Theatre in MARG SZKABULA (PISSY'S WIFE) at Rialto, 5/15-26

Theatre Agile, Altera Vitae Productions and the Rialto Theatre present Marg Szkabula (Pissy's Wife). The cabaret-style play, written by Ron Chambers, directed by Lib Spry (assisted by Luciana Burcheri) and starring Carolyn Fe with musical sidekick, Le Jack runs in the Rialto Hall from May 15 to 26, 2013. With Ms Fe's love of music and theatre, this one woman show is a natural for the raspy-voiced blues diva (see bio below).

Playwrights' Workshop Montreal (PWM), Canada's oldest play development centre, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with 50 Years in the Making, a celebratory gala on Monday, May 6th at 7:00 p.m. at Centaur Theatre. Hosted by CBC's Ann-Marie MacDonald and PWM's Artistic Director, Emma Tibaldo, the event will offer a glimpse into the past five decades of Playwrights' Workshop Montreal and feature staged readings of excerpts from the extensive PWM repertoire. The evening will be capped off with a reception and fundraising auction.

Written by talented British playwright, actor and filmmaker David Yip, along with Kevin Wong, the play is performed by the original actors: David Yip as father figure, Yee Lui and Eugene Salleh, as his son, David Yee.
