About the Casper Events Center

If it's happening in Wyoming, chances are it's happening at the Casper Events Center. Built high on a hill over-looking the city, Casper Mountain, and the scenic Platte River Valley, the Casper Events Center lends new meaning to the term "accommodating."

Opened in April of 1982, the Casper Events Center is Wyoming's Center for Entertainment. Here we are over three decades later and celebrating not only one of Casper's most popular one cent facilities, but one of Wyoming's most prized assets. The Casper Events Center was funded entirely by the City's portion of the optional 1% sales tax, with a construction cost of $22 million and the facility completely paid for when the doors opened for our first event on April 17, 1982. Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass was the first to grace our stage. The Casper Events Center is owned by the City of Casper, Wyoming and managed by Spectra Venue Management since October 2016.
