Named by Dance Magazine in 2011 as a "wild child" of movement invention and a previous member of Ohad Naharin's Batsheva Dance Company, Gallim Artistic Director and choreographer Andrea Miller's explosive works have been commissioned throughout the world (including setting her piece Booba on Minneapolis' very own Zenon Dance Company). Blush takes the moment of blushing and expands it into a 60-minute journey of fiery, punctuated physicality by Miller's award-winning athletic ensemble of six dancers. The piece draws on diverse inspirations lIke Ballet and Miller's unique movement vocabulary to simultaneously deliver raw sensuality and power.
