Theatre in the Round Players presents IN THE REST ROOM AT ROSENBLOOM'S by Ludmilla Bollow, tonight, May 31 - June 23, 2013. Audience discussion follows the matinee June 9th.
Rosenbloom's is an old downtown department store. These days, it's a place of faded elegance, where Violet, Myrah, and Winifred meet every day in the lounge of the women's room. But when Winifred's sister threatens to take her away, the lounge becomes their fortress as the elderly ladies band together to protect one of their own. This contemporary comedy has won awards and won over audiences across the country for its quirky characters, punchy writing and good humor.
Wendy Resch Novak directs a cast featuring Maggie Bearmon Pistner, Mary Kay Fortier Spalding, Mary Cutler, and Kristen C. Mathisen. Kirby Moore is scenic designer, with Lisa Conley designing costumes, and lighting by Thomas C. Mendenhall.
An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, June 9th.
