Theatre in the Round Presents JIMMY DEAN Thru 1/30, 2011

Theatre in the Round Players presents BACK TO THE 5 & DIME JIMMY DEAN, JIMMY DEAN by Ed Graczyk.  The production will close on January 30, 2011.

In the Woolworth's store in McCarthy, Texas, the Disciples of James Dean are gathering for their 20th reunion. They were teenagers when movie star Dean filmed Giant in a nearby town, and their memories intermingle with flashbacks to that eventful time. This year, though, their reunion attracts a mystery guest. A comedy of Southern sass and spice, and emotional surprises.

David Coral directs a cast of nine with sets designed by Rob Jensen, costumes by Edward Summers, and lighting by Nicole Fierce.

An audience discussion with director Coral and members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, January 16th.
