The Duluth Playhouse Presents Disney's MARY POPPINS, Beginning Tonight

The Duluth Playhouse will present Disney's MARY POPPINS, tonight, December 3-20, 2015, welcoming back guest director/choreographer Michael Matthew Ferrell.

The musical is based on the stories of P.L. Tracers and the Walt Disney film, with original music and lyrics by RICHARD M. SHERMAN and ROBERT B. SHERMAN, book by JULIAN FELLOWES, and new songs and additional music and lyrics by GEORGE STILES and ANTHONY DREWE. Co-created by CAMERON MAKINTOSH.

Complete with beloved songs from the Academy Award-winning Disney film, this magical musical tells the inspirational tale of the amazing flying nanny who's practically perfect in every way. Let Mary and Bert sweep you away in this exhilarating family-fun musical!

Back by popular demand after directing and choreographing the smash-hit ANYTHING GOES, Michael Matthew Ferrell is the 2013 Ivey Award recipient for his work on SINGIN' IN THE RAIN and 2007 Ivey Award recipient for HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. He was also named 2010 Choreographer of the Year by Lavender Magazine.
