New Theater Company Announces Upcoming Production Showcasing Women in Comedy
By: A.A. Cristi
Smartmouth Productions, a new theater company in Minneapolis, will be producing a new comedy show at the Phoenix Theater.
The first installment of their "Director's Cut" series includes a live performance of a popular episode of "Sex and the City" followed by a "cut" of the same episode, where the actors improvise and go [completely] off book with a funny and inventive retelling of the story. Follow Smartmouth Productions on Facebook and Instagram to find out what's coming up for 2017.
"Director's Cut" on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 10:30PM, Phoenix Theater, 2605 Hennepin Avenue South ($10-$15, sliding scale)
