Mame Dennis is a larger-than-life personality living the high life in the Roaring Twenties in New York City. She has a collection of eccentric, wealthy society friends and her life is one endless party. Her brother in Iowa dies unexpectedly, and she suddenly finds herself the guardian of his 12 year-old son, Patrick, which leads to all sorts of misadventures.
