Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet took Broadway and London by storm decades ago; and now a film and play revival later, the scalding comedy about small-time, ruthless real estate salesmen has become a classic. Known as one of Mamets most praised works, the darkly-comedic drama comes packed with the playwrights quick-paced razor-sharp dialogue, explicit language and mature content. There are plenty of four-letter words thrown around as the desperate characters engage in unethical and illegal actsfrom lies and flattery to intimidation and beyondto get that sale.Director Dennis ODonovan said, The play is a roller coaster ride. Act 1 sets up a series of stories, and in Act 2 all of those stories come cascading home to roost in a really big way! Come meet A.C.T.s wannabe alpha males played by Tony Richards, Michael Beecher, James Coffey, Roger Smith, Drew Brown, Slade Walter and Stephen Mayer on Feb. 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 p.m.; Sunday matinees are at 3:00 p.m. A.C.T. Studio Theatre is located in the Cedar Pointe Plaza, 2399 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart. Reserved seating is $25.
