The story of The Andrews Brothers is a familiar one. It's World War II, and the Andrews Sisters are booked to entertain the troops. Laverne gets the chicken pox and the Andrews Sisters' appearance has to cancelled.  The stagehands (who happened to be named the Andrews Brothers) come to the rescue, don wigs and dresses, and no one knows the difference.

The singing is live and under the musical direction of Kevin Coughlin. Kevin Coughlin is the resident Artistic Director for Tamarac Theatre and has musically directed Ruthless, Musical of Musicals, Meshugah Nuns and more.

The Andrews Brothers is directed and choreographed by Dave Campbell. Mr. Campbell, started as a dancer, and is best known for his television credits which include choreographing six seasons of Canadian Idol, Deal or No Deal and others.  Mr. Campbell's has directed five critically acclaimed productions of Cats, as well as J.C. Superstar, Kiss Me Kate and Forever Plaid.

Rounding out the cast are Joel Johnson ("Forever Plaid"), David Meulemans ("The World Goes Round," "Company"), Fermin Rojas ("Company")  and Alisha Todd (a Laughing Matters regular).

The show was created by Roger Bean who also created The Marvelous Wonderettes now playing off Broadway as well as Why Do Fools Fall In Love, Life Could Be a Dream, Route 66 and Honky Tonk Laundry.
