Sigal Ratner-Arias to Present 64: UNA NOVELA, 10/9

As a prelude to the 30th anniversary of the Miami Book Fair International, on Thursday October 9 at theKoubek Center of Miami Dade College, Penguin Group (USA) and Bajalibros.com is honored to present "64: Una novela", a story written by Venezuelan journalist and writer Sigal Ratner-Arias, the Spanish Entertainment Editor of the Associated Press (AP).

"64: Una novela" is a fictional story inspired by the death of the author's father, her grandmother and her aunt at the same age, 64. Three women of two generations face this fateful number through love, estrangement, the ghosts of September 11, and the specter of a life-changing event that could forever alter the course of their lives.

Critics have praised Sigal and her novel as "an honest and bright literary voice" and "an unforgettable experience." As a prelude of the 30 anniversary of the Miami Book Fair, Sigal was selected by the Miami Book Fair as part of group of outstanding authors to be part of the presentation series "Super Star Author Presentations" in September and October . Sigal Ratner-Arias will launch worldwide "64: Una novela" on October 9 at 7 pm at the Koubek Center of Miami Dade College, 2705 SW 3rd Street, Miami.

Luz Maria Doria, vice president / executive producer of the morning show, Despierta America - Univision Network- is the special guest to present "64: Una novela" and Sigal Ratner-Arias in a Q&A session.
