On March 5th, Blue Suede Shoes: the 75th Anniversary Double Elvis Extravaganza, will play at the Parker Playhouse in Ft. Lauderdale.  The event will feature Elvis impersonators Mike Albert and Scott Bruce. Together, these two dynamos make the "king" come alive again, in an exciting multi-generational concert. Tickets are $29-$39 and can be purchased at http://parkerplayhouse.com.

Acclaimed around the globe as "The World's Finest Elvis Impressionist," Mike Albert is second to none. With endorsements from original Elvis Presley musicians and back-up singers, his thousands of fans across the country can attest to the electricity he creates on stage with the Big "E" Band.

Scot Bruce's tribute to the young King has taken him across the United States and all over the world. He has appeared in music videos with Faith Hill and Sheryl Crow, a recurring role on the hit soap opera Days of Our Lives....and in the title role in several successful productions of 'Idols of the King', including the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and the prestigious Barter Theatre in Virginia.

The Parker Playhouse curtain rose for the first time on February 6, 1967. One of Fort Lauderdale's first venues, the neo-classical Playhouse, was built by Dr. Louis Parker and is managed now by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. This 1,167-seat fully equipped theater plays an important role in the community by serving as a vibrant part of the areA. Parker Playhouse helps fuel economic development while also bringing the community together with performances, activities and educational programming.
