Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens to Host Sunset Stroll This September
Fushu Daiko and Emiko Koto will perform alongside Asian-inspired cuisine at the Japanese gardens.
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens will host Sunset Stroll on September 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The event will feature a cosplay fashion show highlighting costumes inspired by popular characters, alongside live musical performances and food vendors throughout the museum grounds.
Entertainment will include taiko drumming performances by Fushu Daiko on the Terrace and koto performances by Emiko Koto in the Sakai Room.
Food and beverage offerings will include selections from Cornell Café, Niigata Sake, Kaminari Ramen, and Akiko-ya Japanese Sweets.
Tickets are priced at $5 for members, with free admission for member children ages 17 and under. General admission tickets are $12, with tickets for children ages 6–17 priced at $7. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free.
Organizers noted that space is limited and tickets will not be available at the door. The event will take place rain or shine.
Sunset Stroll is presented with support from JM Family Enterprises, Southeast Toyota Distributors, and Sister Cities of Delray Beach.
