Maltz Jupiter's GREATEST NIGHT ON EARTH Raises $375,000

By:

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre's "Greatest Night on Earth" Gala, held on January 15th at Admiral's Cove Country Club, raised $375,000 to benefit the not-for-profit theatre.

The Theatre's hit production, Barnum, inspired the theme for the evening. An over-the-top circus atmosphere with clowns, jugglers and stilt walkers greeted guests. The ballroom at Admirals Cove was transformed; a billowing tent incased tables wrapped in neon pinks, greens and blues topped with oversized centerpieces of popcorn, cotton candy and lions jumping through rings of fire.

Broadway producers and Theatre board members, Bonnie and John Osher were honored with a special performance by the students of the Theatre's Conservatory of Performing Arts (COPA). Drawing on their prolific business, marketing and theatre experience, the Oshers lend their support and vision by serving on the Theatre's Artistic Committee and generating a scholarship program.

Roberta Golub, chairing this successful Gala for the second consecutive year along with a notable committee of forty, exceeded all expectations. Grand auction chairmen were Bel Miller and Leslie Sacks; silent auction chairmen were Susan Johnson and Beth Neuhoff; and decorations were coordinated by Leslie Sacks.

"The Gala was a huge success and I am grateful for the amazing committee of devoted and enthusiastic volunteers, as well as the commitment of community support and sponsorship," says Tricia Trimble, Managing Director of the Theatre.

Sponsors included: Major Business Sponsors: Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co., Capital Grille, Jupiter Magazine, The Golden Anvil. Grand Benefactors: Roberta and Harvey Golub, Mr. and Mrs. Richard J Katz, Jr., Bonnie and John Osher. VIP Sponsors: Seymour "Zoom" Fleischer, Sallie and Bert Korman, Jane F. Napier, Diane and Jim Perrella. Platinum Sponsors: Susan and Ross Johnson, Pattie and Nate Light, Joan and Alan Safir.
