Karen Stephens in
Bridge and Tunnel
at the Boca Raton Theatre Guild
September 9th - 11th
The Boca Raton Theatre Guild presents Karen Stephens in Sarah Jones' Bridge & Tunnel at the Willow Theatre in Sugar Sand Park, September 9th - 11th.
In an award winning performance (Best Actress 2011 - New Times Best of Award), in a play the New York Times called ‘lively, compassionate, mildly sardonic and smart', Stephens will delight, entertain, and challenge audiences as she inhabits the souls of over a dozen ‘bridge and tunnellers' - a term for people who travel to Manhattan Island from surrounding communities, a commute that requires passing over a bridge and/or through a tunnel.
In Bridge & Tunnel playwright Sarah Jones honors the hopes and dreams that continue and continually draw immigrants to America, even in today's difficult political climate and uncertain economy.
Bridge & Tunnel will run for 4 performances only - Friday and Saturday, September 9th and 10th at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th at 2:00 p.m. The Willow Theatre in Sugar Sand Park is located at 300 South Military Trail in Boca Raton, just south of Palmetto Park Road. Tickets for Bridge and Tunnel are $15 and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at the Willow Theatre Box office: 561-347-3948 .
