HARRY AND SNOWMAN Director Ron Davis Set for Q&A After Lake Worth Playhouse Screening

Harry and Snowman director, Ron Davis, will be at Lake Worth Playhouse's Stonzek Theatre LIVE on Sunday, November 20th for a Q&A after the 6:45pm show.

Davis directed and produced the original HBO feature documentary, MISS YOU CAN DO IT, which aired in June 2013. In 2010, his feature documentary, PAGEANT, garnered more than 10 film festival awards and premiered on The Sundance Channel. Ron's first two short narrative student films earned him a top-ten finalist spot in the 2004 Esquire Magazine Celluloid Style film competition.

Dutch immigrant, Harry deLeyer, journeyed to the United States after World War II and developed a transformative relationship with a broKen Down Amish plow horse he rescued off a slaughter truck bound for the glue factory. Harry paid eighty dollars for the horse and named him Snowman. In less than two years, Harry & Snowman went on to win the triple crown of show jumping, beating the nations blue bloods and they became famous and traveled around the world together. Their chance meeting at a Pennsylvania horse auction saved them both and crafted a friendship that lasted a lifetime. Eighty-six year old Harry tells their Cinderella love story firsthand, as he continues to train on today's show jumping circuit.

For 64 seasons, the Lake Worth Playhouse has been bringing vibrant theater to Palm Beach County and providing a venue for the development of serious acting and technical theater talent.
