Danny Scheie Joins LA BETE At Asolo Rep 2/15

Asolo Repertory Theatre guest artist Danny Scheie, currently featured in its comedy La Bête, will step into the big-top spotlight as guest ringmaster of Circus Sarasota on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at 7 p.m. Asolo Rep and Circus Sarasota also partnered to offer a reciprocal discount to fans who attend either Scheie's Circus Sarasota guest ringmaster debut or his tour-de-force performance in La Bête. Both shows are in the final week of performances.

Audiences are raving about Scheie's tour-de-force performance as Valere, a flamboyant and wildly unpredictable popular performer, in the Asolo Rep production of La Bête, David Hirson's Molière inspired, high-energy comedy that won numerous awards including five Tony award nominations and six Drama Desk awards.
