ACT of Davie Stages THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB, Now thru 2/23
Actors Community Theatre of Davie is a not-for-profit theatre sponsored by the Town of Davie. The Actors Community Theatre of Davie is presenting "The Dixie Swim Club", a hilarious and poignant comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wootten.
Five devoted college friends and teammates meet every summer at a beloved beach house to celebrate their friendship, and to support each other as they face life's challenges. The play spans over 30 years in the lives of these dedicated, courageous, and very funny women. As the audience shares these characters' dreams, frustrations and triumphs, laughter and tears are both in ample supply
Performances run from today, Feb. 14 through Feb. 23, 2014, with Friday performances at 8:00 PM Saturday performances at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and Sunday performances at 2:00 PM. All performances are at the Davie Pine Island Multi-Purpose Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Rd., Davie, FL 33328.Tickets are $10.00 if purchased in advance, and $12.00 at time of performance. Tickets may be purchased at the Pine Island Center on weekday mornings and afternoons, or ordered by phone or E-mail.
