Priscilla Presley To Kick Off Grand Opening Celebration of New Elvis Presley Museum, Today
Priscilla Presley will kick off the grand opening celebration of the $45 million, 200,000 square-foot state-of-the-art entertainment & museum complex featuring the largest and most comprehensive Elvis exhibit in the world, an all-new Automobile Museum named Presley Motors, a 20,000-square-foot "Graceland Soundstage" multipurpose performance and meeting space, pop culture exhibits including Mystery Train: The Sam Phillips Exhibit and The Country Road to Rock Exhibit, a 1950s inspired diner and Memphis Bar-B-Q restaurant along with retail stores. The complex is Graceland's most significant expansion since first opening to the public in 1982. The opening four days will feature movies in the soundstage and LIVE Memphis music throughout the complex celebrating Elvis' life and career while honoring Memphis' rich musical legacy across genres.
