PATE (Petit Atelier Théâtre Esch) is an educational and cultural project which enables young people to discover the live performance through artistic practice. Led by director Saïf Eddine Settif and educator Hélène Moench, the project takes the form of a weekly workshop during which participants become familiar with the performing arts in fields as diverse as dance, song, music, comedy, circus arts and graphic and plastic arts. Throughout the year, the accent is put on theater techniques, from writing to improvisation, to create a real show presented at the end of the school year at the Escher Theater! PATE is a project of the Youth Service of the City of Esch-sur-Alzette.
