YouthQuake! Hosts First-Ever Showcase, TREMORS, at Don't Tell Mama Tonight
YouthQuake! helps LGBTQ youth realize their dreams in the performing arts by guiding their professional success. Its first public showcase - TREMORS -- an evening of song, dance and performance by the first ever YouthQuake participants: Reki*, Edgar Banuelos, Kit Dezolt, Miko Greganda, Quelnick Hoff, Travis Lionel, Shane Ivan Nash, Rodrigo Orozco, and Shahin Saboonpaz. Director Alexander Rodriguez; Music Director Bryan Blaskie; Choreography by Lindsley Allen and Dimitri Bagramyan.
YouthQuake! is a year-round mentoring and performance program serving talented LGBTQ youth, ages 15-24, dedicated to storytelling, performance, and their professional launch. In 2013, Richard Neely created YouthQuake! Alexander Rodriguez is our Artistic Director.
The YQ program consists of: open auditions, mentoring program, weekly storytelling and career building workshops, 3 full-scale productions annually, 3 intimate showcases annually, and special performance events throughout the year.More info: www.youthquakela.org.
