Yoshi's Announces Mos Def at Yoshi's Oakland, April 14 - 16.
Yoshi's is pleased to welcome Mos Def to Yoshi's Oakland, April 14 - 16. Backing Mos Def on these very intimate gigs will be with three of the most exciting young players in jazz; Robert Glasper (Q-Tip, Christian McBride, Nicholas Payton), Chris Dave (Mint Condition, Pat Metheny, Kenny Garrett), and Stephen Bruner (Erykah Badu, Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves). Mos recently played a sold out run of critically acclaimed shows at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, also produced by Jill Newman Productions. His much anticipated fourth solo album, "The Ectastic" is slated for release later this year.
