WOMEN w/o WALLS - Opens 11/7 at The Lounge Theatre

By:

Los Angeles' Broads' Word Theatre Company presents the premiere of Women w/o Walls by Robin Rice (Lichtig) This is the second production for the company after their inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival hit, 50 Shades of Shrew. Artistic Director, Danielle Ozymandias' says the company's mission is to produce stylized theatre with a diverse feminist vision. "Theatre by and about women, for everybody." In a theatrical climate where there are always an abundance of talented actresses and very few good roles for them to bring to life, Broads' Word Theatre is dedicated to letting those actresses shine in a way you've never seen them before: in roles traditionally played by men, or traditionally played.

"Seven of us came together with one thought: let's produce theatre by and about women for everybody." Danielle Ozymandias' - Artistic Director Broads Word Theatre Company

Women W/O Walls, crosses international and generational lines with acclaimed Playwright Robin Rice on her game and in her sixth decade with over 60 one-act plays and 20 full-length plays for the stage. Her works have been produced across the world including at the Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland, Mongolia, Alaska, South Africa and Holland.

This is the first American production for Director, Frances Loy, one of the founding members and co-Artistic Directors of Theatre Delicatessen, which Time Out London called the Leading Light of Pop Up Theatre for it's work at alternate venues in London's West End.

The play opens November 7th and runs Friday's and Saturday's at 8 PM and Sunday's at 4 PM at the LOUNGE THEATRE (6201 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood, 90038). Tickets are $22.00 and available at: www.plays411.com./womenwowalls or https://goo.gl/juDQp8
