Broadway and TV performer, and newly turned teenager Melody Hollis will make her cabaret debut as she becomes one of the youngest, if not the youngest person ever to perform a solo one- (not quite a) woman show at Vitello's nightclub in Studio City.

Melody appeared on Broadway in the original cast of Irving Berlin's White Christmas, and recently garnered critical acclaim and a Young Artist Award nomination for playing Annie in the Musical Theatre West production of Annie, opposite the original Annie Andrea McArdle.

Performing professionally since the age of six, Melody has toured the country performing in theatre, film, radio, television and cabaret venues. She is also very involved in charity work with both "Kids With A Cause" and "SAG Looking Ahead program".

Conceived and directed by Bruce Kimmel, Melodyland is a fun filled trip through Broadway musicals and standards as well as original material penned specifically for her.

With musical direction by her father, Steven Hollis, one of two elementary music specialists employed by the Burbank Unified School District, Melody proves that love of music is a family affair.

Melodyland premieres at Vitello's in Studio City on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 8:00 pm. For reservations call: 818-769-8900. Tickets are available at: www.vitellosrestaurant.com and at www.ticketweb.com.
