Third Today Downtown ArtWalk To Be Held Today
Join us on January 21st for the Third Saturday Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk held from 5:00 pm to 10:00pm. In addition to live music, gallery openings and cultural programming, the event now features a free guided walking tour of the award winning Downtown Hollywood Mural Project, a live performance of Impulse Art by internationally acclaimed "foot-painter" Daniel Pontet and the launch of the Downtown Hollywood Artisan Market.
The Downtown Hollywood Mural Project is a collection of over 20 curated outdoor murals by artists that include Kenny Scharf, Tatiana Suarez, Rone, The London Police, Jessy Nite and Logan Hicks. This guided tour tells the stories behind the featured art and artists. Meet at 6:00pm at the Visitor Center Information Booth at the corner of 20th Avenue & Hollywood Boulevard.
The Downtown Hollywood Artisan Market at the Artwalk features pop-up shops, artist showcases, handmade items, local purveyors, vintage shopping & fun! Visit The Artisan Market on 20th Ave between Harrison & Tyler Streets. The Downtown Hollywood Artisan Market is produced by Atlantic Studios, founder of the Indie Craft Bazaar, an Independent Art & Handmade Festival.
At 8:00pm, artist Daniel Pontet, accompanied by Jeff Lee of Resurrection Drums, entertain the crowds at 2020 Harrison Street with Impulse Art, a fusion of music and foot painting.
