The Theatre Group at SBCC will hold open auditions for the summer musical, Frank Loesser and Abe Burrows' HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, Book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert, Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser, on Friday, January 25 from 6-9:30pm by appointment and on Saturday January 26, from 10:30am-1pm for Dance Auditions in the Garvin Theatre.

Auditionees are asked to bring 16 bar song cut from "traditional" Broadway song that shows off vocal range and demonstrates a defined character and that the singer understands storytelling through singing. They must supply music in their key with cuts clearly indicated. There will be a cold reading of a short monologue to be provided.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS will be directed by R. Michael Gros, musical direction by David Potter and Choreography by Tracy Kofford. Rehearsals will begin in May 2019, and performances are July 11-27, 2019 in the Garvin Theatre. All roles are available.
