The Encore! Producers Awards Extends Top Hollywood Fringe Shows
The Encore! Producers' Awards, produced by Combined Artform, returns for the eighth year with extended runs of the best of the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2017 at eleven Hollywood venues.
This year's extensions feature an exciting selection of exceptional ensemble and solo work at Actors Company, Asylum @ Studio C, Asylum @ Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre, Asylum @ Underground, Asylum @ 2nd Stage, Lounge Theatre, SacRed Fools Theatre, The New Collective, The Complex and Three Clubs. Shows were selected from over 375 productions in the largest Hollywood Fringe Festival to date.
The Winners of the Encore! Producers' Awards were selected by Fringe Producing Artistic Director Matthew Quinn and an award's selection committee of venue representatives. Winners were selected based on artistic merit and commercial potential. Production extensions aid to further develop the selected works as well as explore additional opportunities for longer runs. Past winners of The Encore! Producers' Awards have gone on to tour nationally and enjoy extended commercial runs in the Los Angeles area.

Writers' Workshop includes six local playwrights who will spend a year researching and writing a new work with the feedback of their fellow writers and Center Theatre Group's artistic staff.
