The Grove Theatre cordially invites you to "The Music Man," opening on July 17th and running on weekends through August 2nd.

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize - despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen. The Music Man is family entertainment at its best.

The best known song is undoubtedly SEVENTY-SIX TROMBONES, sung by Harold as he portrays the vision of a boys' Town Band full of the instruments and uniforms he persuaded their mothers and fathers to buy. Other songs include GOOD-NIGHT MY SOMEONE, GOODNIGHT LADIES, GARY, INDIANA and TILL THERE WAS YOU.

Bring your family and enjoy this wonderfully entertaining show.

Tickets are $20 and $25 with senior, student and group discounts, and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on line at www.grovetheatre.com. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786.
