THE BELLS OF WEST 87TH Extends Through Oct 27 at the Greenway Court Theatre

By:

The Bells of West 87th, the hilarious and heartfelt new comedy by Elin Hampton, has extended its run at the Greenway Court Theatre through Oct. 27.

Buffy, Angel, Smallville and Torchwood fan-favorite James Marsters stars in an off-beat new comedy by writer Elin Hampton (Mad About You, Dream On, Buffy). Building manager and amateur poet Molly Fein is almost 40, still single, and craving a new life independent of her crazy, dysfunctional family. But when she brings her night-school boyfriend home to meet her parents - he fits right in! What's a girl to do?

The stage comedy about an almost-40-year-old amateur poet who brings her new boyfriend home to meet her dysfunctional family has received positive reviews for writing, direction and an acting ensemble that includes Buffy, Angel, Smallville and Torchwood fan-favorite James Marsters, Buffy alum Dagney Kerr, Carol Locatell (original Broadway cast of Broadway Bound), CameRon Meyer (Three Sisters at the Odyssey Theatre) and Robert Towers (original Los Angeles Snoopy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown).

Performances of The Bells of West 87th continue on Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays @ 6 p.m. through Oct. 27 General admission for all performances is $34. The Greenway Court Theatre is located at 544 N. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90036. On-site parking is free. To purchase tickets, call (323) 655-7679 x100 or www.greenwayarts.org.
