Stefan Marks To Direct World Premiere Of MIDDLE8 At The Stella Adler Theatre

Crooked Arrow Productions announces, acclaimed playwright Stefan Marks will direct the world premiere of his new play Middle8 at The Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood. Middle8 is a two-act, dark comedy about "The World's Greatest Rock Band... you've never heard of."
The play opens November 9th and runs Friday-Saturday nights at 8pm through December 15th with additional 3pm matinee performances on Saturdays December 8th & 15th. The Friday November 23rd show will be an ASL Interpreted Performance.
Marks has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Cal State Northridge where he received the Padua Hills Playwriting Scholarship.
His last two plays Space and Hello were nominated for a total of 10 Ovation Awards, with 2 wins (Playwriting, Lead Actor.) The cast includes: Ken Weiler, Matt Kaminsky, Marks, Brett Pearsons, Geoff Dunbar, Brittany Joyner and Jules Dameron.
The path to fame is a winding, uncertain road. When is it too late to succeed... and what is success? A 40-year-old father gets the band back together to take one last shot at stardom. As real-world responsibilities mount, the band is forced to face some long-buried emotional truths.
A dramedy with live original music, Middle8 is about a fictitious Kansas City rock group played by the real-life LA-based band, The Four Postmen.
MIDDLE8 will play at The Stella Adler Theatre - Main Stage, 6773 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood from November 9 - December 15, 2018. Performance schedule is Friday and Saturday at 8:00PM with additional 3pm matinee performances on Saturday December 8th & 15th.
