Renee Marino to Perform Solo Show I AM ME, BECAUSE OF THREE at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal
Renée Marino, who played Mary Delgado in the film "Jersey Boys" directed by Clint Eastwood, is performing her solo show "I Am Me, Because Of Three" on Monday November 7, 2016 at 8pm in Los Angeles at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal.
She was featured in People.com's "Ones To Watch", Variety Magazine and highlighted in the Huffington Post's review of the film stating, "The Broadway star-who is basically Tina Fey's doppleganger-is a scene stealer, spouting swears and put-downs with aplomb. 'Jersey Boys' pops whenever she's onscreen." Renée also played Mary Delgado in the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys", in addition to her other Broadway credits: Rosalia in "West Side Story" Revival, "Chaplin" and "Wonderland." She began her professional career seeing the country and beyond on the 25th Anniversary Tour of "Cats", Disney's "High School Musical" and "Jersey Boys". Renée guest starred on Fox's comedy, "Weird Loners" as Regina, and has been utilizing her theatre chops in LA playing Lola in Cabrillo Music Theatre's "Damn Yankees" as well as the iconic role of Carmen Miranda in the Los Angeles premiere of "I Only Have Eyes For You" at the Montalban Theatre. She is a proud graduate of Wagner College where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre/Speech, and is a proud member of SHARE, INC.. As a passionate writer, Renée is working on a new single cam comedy, and wrote " I Am Me Because of Three" with Dante Russo, which she performed for the first time last year to a packed house earning her glowing reviews.
"I Am Me, Because of Three" is written by Renée Marino and Dante Russo, with Direction by Coy Middlebrook and Musical Direction by Gerald Sternbach.
