REALLY ALL ABOUT EVE VERSE 1 Plays At Temple Akiba 3/22
Choreographed and directed by Heidi Duckler, "Really, All About Eve, Verse 1" is a feminist retelling of the story of Eve. This multi-disciplinary performance examines the gender hierarchy of the story of creation and with wit and beauty begs the question: "Was Eve framed?". A live trio performance of Daniel Rosenboom's original score emphasizing rhythmic, electronic and Middle Eastern leitmotifs will accompany the dancers as they animate the historic sacred space of Temple Akiba (5249 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City, CA 90230). Please join us on Sunday, March 22 at 4 pm! Tickets are $15 for DRC members and includes an appletini.
For more information and to purchase tickets please visit: www.collagedancetheatre.org or call (818) 784-8669.
This performance is made possible in part by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment. Funded in part through Meet The Composer's MetLife Creative Connections program.
