Photo Flash: Sneak Peek at FIGARO, Playing Over Easter at A Noise Within

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, serves up performances of the comedy Figaro, a new production of Beaumarchais' classic play The Marriage of Figaro freely adapted by Charles Morey through May 1 -- especially over Easter weekend Saturday, April 4 at 2pm and 8pm and special after brunch curtain time on Sunday, April 5 at 4pm. A comic cross between Bugs Bunny and Grouch Marx, FIGARO is a funny friend for Easter/Passover weekend! With eye-popping costumes in Easter-egg colors -- and a sky-high wig or two! -- There are plenty of laughs for the whole family. (Recommended for children aged 10 and up.)

When asked, "Must you make a joke of everything?" Figaro answered, "Yes. It's the only thing that makes life bearable. Otherwise we should go mad and slaughter our masters in their beds ... say, when is enough [ham], anyway?"

Directed by Michael Michetti, this is the West Coast premiere of the Morey adaptation. This production is 100% SWEET on Bitter Lemons -- among the best batting averages in history.
