Photo Flash: One Direction Figures Launched at Madame Tussauds Hollywood
Following their three American Music Award wins for Artist of the Year, Favorite Band, Duo or Group -- Pop/Rock, and Favorite Album -- Pop/Rock, Madame Tussauds Hollywood launched the One Direction figures this morning on their rooftop. Special guests, star of Disney's "Ant Farm" & "Grown Ups 2," China Anne McClain, and hit recording artists "McClain" were on site to introduce and reveal the figures to Hollywood with a kiss. Madame Tussauds New York also brought back the One Direction figures today due to popular demand!
One Direction came on the scene as competitors on the British singing competition The X Factor in 2010 and shot to super stardom in the US with their first album "Up All Night," which topped the US Billboard 200 chart, making One Direction the first British group in US chart history to enter at number one with their debut album. The group's third studio album "Midnight Memories" was the global top selling album of 2013 and their latest single 'Steal My Girl' off new album "Four" broke the VEVO record for the most views in 24 hours.
