glory|struck production's immersive and environmental staging of Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT, to be vibrantly brought to life in a warehouse of Downtown Los Angeles' Arts District, is in final rehearsals before its May 15th opening at The Vortex. Scroll down for a sneak peek at the cast!

This electrifying stage adaptation of the punk album features a rotating cast that includes James Byous, Alec Cyganowski, Lindsay Pearce ("Glee"), Briana Cuoco ("The Voice"), Payson Lewis ("The Sing Off"), Jonah Platt (HAIR), Caitlin Ary, Bianca Gisselle, Matt Magnusson, Abraham Lim ("The Glee Project"), Michelle Raitzin ("The Voice"), Shelley Regner (Pitch Perfect 2), Jordan Booker, Barrett Crake, Casey Hayden, Reesa Marie, Jenna Townsend, and Zach Zagoria.

In authentic Green Day fashion, this production pays homage to the roots of the punk band, which formed in 1986 and conquered the underground concert scene, playing a house-parties, warehouses and squats, before their rise to fame. AMERICAN IDIOT, crafted from the iconic Grammy Award-winning album by Green Day, chronicles the frustration, anger, and dreams of a lost generation of young Americans as they struggle to find meaning in a post 9/11 world.

AMERICAN IDIOT will be directed by Topher Rhys and Jen Oundjian, with musical direction by Elmo Zapp. This rock-infused presentation will be produced for glory|struck by Topher Rhys, Jamie Lee Barnard, and Juliana Scott who most recently brought the award-winning, Ovation nominated Los Angeles revival of bare to life at the historic Hayworth Theatre. Before that, glory|struck produced the wildly successful, grunge-inspired Spring Awakening in Concert to raise awareness for the LOVE IS LOUDER campaign. Jen Oundjian (whose work has been seen on The Oprah Winfrey Show, America's Got Talent, and Dancing with the Stars) will choreograph the show. Other key team members include lighting design by Brandon Baruch, sound design by Jon King, associate music production by Alex Seller, and assistant choreographers Erik Hall and Dominic Masta.

Conceived by Michael Mayer and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, this high-octane show features every song from the album, including "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "Wake Me Up When September Ends," "Holiday" and the title track "American Idiot." The score also includes "21 Guns" among other songs from Green Day's Grammy Award-winning 2009 release "21st Century Breakdown."
