OC-centric New Play Festival Seeks Submissions; Deadline 2/4

By:

Are you a playwright living in Orange County, California? Then you are eligible to submit work for the next edition of OC-centric: Orange County's New Play Festival, which will take place in August 2013 at Chapman University in Orange.

OC-centric consistently features "a roster of fine acting talent assembled from the county's storefront theater scene" (OC WEEKLY), actors and directors from the greater Los Angeles area and Chapman University students. In 2012, we produced a new full-length play by USC MFA grad and National New Play Network alum Megan Breen and a quartet of one-acts from OC dramatists John Lane, Sydney Nikols, Ken La Salle and Colleen Bevacqua.

We are reading full-length and one-act plays in consideration for the 2013 festival. The quality of plays that we receive will ultimately determine the shape of the program. It could be a pair of full-lengths, it could be a few one-acts. Whatever is best, we will produce.
