New Beatles Musical Show ALL TOGETHER NOW to Open 1/30 at El Portal Theatre
What if the Beatles Reunited Today? This is the intriguing question posed by the newest Beatles show which opens at the intimate El Portal Monroe Theatre. This staging is an original Beatle Musical - with a twist.
The show follows the Beatles as they would be today, if all four Beatles were reunited to first rehearse to see if the magic was still there.....and then stage a concert.
As the 'modern Fab Four' conspire to hatch a plan to play a secret show to be presented only to their most intimate and closest friends, fresh arrangements emerge - as do some surprising dramatic and humorous insights.
David Leon, one of the original cast members of the Broadway production of Beatlemania, is excited about the new show: "We wanted to present everyone's favorite Beatles music in a new and interesting way, and to explore how the Beatles would get along today, what would they say to one another? The challenge was to maintain the integrity of the original arrangements."
The show covers music from all three major eras of the Beatles career, from the Ed Sullivan years through to the Sergeant Pepper and solo years.
