NO SEX PLEASE, WE'RE BRITISH Ends Diablo Actors' Season 4/17

By:

Diablo Actors' Ensemble ends its first season in its Locust Street home with the hysterical farce "No Sex Please, We're British." The popular comedy by Alistair Foot and Anthony Marriott plays April 17 - May 17, 2009.

Running in London for over eight years and delighting Broadway audiences for an extended run, "No Sex Please" has long been an audience favorite. The story tells of a newly wed couple living above the bank where the husband is the assistant manager. The wife decides to help out financially by selling Scandinavian glassware. What arrives through the mail, however, is a veritable flood of pornography and eventually two young girls. The fun goes into high gear as the couple and their assistant, Mr. Runnicles, try to hid the accumulating porno from the husband's mother, his boss, a visiting bank inspector, a police superintendent, and more.

Artistic director Scott Fryer directs the madeness which features Randy Anger, Megan Briggs, Xanadu Bruggers, Dennis Markam, Jerry Motta, Joel Roster, Laurel Ryerson, and Nancy Sale.

Tickets, priced $10-25, are available online at www.diabloactors.com or by calling 925-482-5110.
