Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley Bring Musical Lovenote HE SAID/SHE SAID to Annenberg Theatre Tonight
Broadway's "Golden Couple", husband and wife team Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley, will bring their newese show He Said/She Said to The Annenberg Theatre for one very special performance tonight, February 23 at 8:00 pm.
He Said/She Said is a musical conversation that features brand new arrangements by many of the Great American Songbook's leading composers including Fats Waller, Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and Sammy Cahn. Program highlights will be ballads such as "Something's Gotta Give," "Too Close for Comfort," "Come Back to Me," and "Love Me or Leave Me." The couple most recently performed together on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL.Marin Mazzie is a three-time Tony Award nominee and multiple-time Award winner for her recent star turns on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and London's West End in NEXT TO NORMAL, KISS ME, KATE, CARRIE (THE MUSICAL), MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, RAGTIME, PASSION, MAN OF LA MANCHA, INTO THE WOODS, BIG RIVER, and KISMET. Her TV appearances include STILL STANDING (CBS), WITHOUT A TRACE, NUMB3RS, JAKE IN PROGRESS, STACKED, PRYOR OFFENSES, and ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
Jason Danieley is a multiple-time New York stage Award winner and nominee for creating starring roles on Broadway and in the West End in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL, CURTAINS, and THE FULL MONTY. He made his Broadway debut as CANDIDE, directed by theatre legend Hal Prince, and is a frequent guest of NY's highly acclaimed City Center Encores! Series.
Featured on over 20 albums between them, Marin and Jason have performed their cabaret concerts HE SAID/SHE SAID and OPPOSITE YOU at The Cafe Carlyle, Feinstein's at the Loews Regency, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub, the Cinegrill, and numerous other venues nationally.
