MY BIG GAY ITALAN WEDDING Opens This Weekend at The Avery Schreiber Theatre, 1/11-1/26

By:

Coming on the heels of the wildly popular and successful holiday show, The Gayest Christmas Pageant Ever! Accomplished writer/director Paul Storiale and a cast of L.A.'s strongcomedic theatre and film actors are proud to bring the West Coast Premiere of My Big Gay Italian Wedding on select dates at the legendary Avery Schreiber Theatre.

My Big Gay Italian Wedding busts open the controversy surrounding the issue of same sex marriage in a wild romp complete with larger than life gay and Italian characters. Anthony Pinnunziato wants to marry his boyfriend Andrew Polinski in a traditional Italian wedding. However, when their friends and family get involved, including an overbearing mother and a jealous ex-boyfriend, chaos ensues. Complete with singing and dancing, this fun-loving yet smart and witty show tackles the gay marriage issue with heart, laughter and a ton of surprises!

"We're very lucky to be able to do this show, especially now," said Storiale, who is once again working with some of his regular actors on the project. "In a time when marriage equality is at the forefront of the media and the Supreme Court decides its fate, it is important to show audiences that everything is going to be okay because love always wins over bias."

Tickets are $20 for general admission. More information may be found at www.averyschreibertheatre.com.
