Los Angeles LGBT Center Announces Film, Art, and Performance Lineup for Fourth Annual CineArte Latinx Queer Arts Festival

By:
The Los Angeles LGBT Center has announced CineArte, the Fourth Annual Arts Festival of the Queer Latinx community, at The Center's Village at Ed Gould Plaza, located at 1125 N. McCadden Place in Hollywood.
CineArte is dedicated to showcasing the stories of LGBTQ, two-spirited, Latinx, Chicanx, and indigenous identities through film and visual art in a space that builds on their rich and diverse cultural history. This year, the festival will run Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23.
The 2017 festival includes a short films program, feature length films, digital media, art installations, and musical performances that represent the intersections and complexities of Latina/o queerness through arts and culture. The three-day celebration will include red carpet events, receptions, music, and Q&A sessions with filmmakers and featured cast members. Food vendors and a bar will be onsite during the entire festival. Films selected to screen at CineArte will be shown out of competition.
Early Bird Festival passes are available for $25 (students and seniors $20); regular festival passes are $30 (students and seniors $25); and individual tickets for film screenings are $10 (students and seniors $8). Tickets are available online at www.lalgbtcenter.org/cinearte and by phone at (323) 860-7300.
