Laguna Playhouse to Present Return Engagement of HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN, 6/22-30
The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors, Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham are thrilled to announce a very special return engagement of HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN, written and performed by Hershey Felder and directed by Trevor Hay. "After the overwhelming response to his initial run, we are delighted to bring Hershey Felder back on our stage as IRVING BERLIN as part of the wide array of programming we're doing this year," comments Wood. "Our subscribers and audiences were asking if we could bring back this remarkable show and for those who missed it or asked to see it again, this is your chance," adds Wareham. HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN will return for ONE WEEK ONLY beginning Monday, June 22 and run through Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.
Called "the greatest songwriter that has ever lived" by George Gershwin, Irving Berlin is known for innumerable American classics such as "White Christmas," "God Bless America," "Anything You Can Do," and "Top Hat, White Tie and Tails." Jerome Kern said it all: "Irving Berlin... is American music."
