LES MISERABLES Star Frances Ruffelle To Make Los Angeles Debut Image

Tony Award Winner Frances Ruffelle turns cabaret upside down in her very first Los Angeles performance of "Frances Ruffelle LIVE(S) IN NEW YORK...IN LA." This award-winning and captivating show is ONE-NIGHT ONLY on March 21, 2019 at the iconic Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Feliz. A definite must see!

Grab your passport as Ruffelle takes you from Paris to New York, and everywhere in between, while rhapsodizing on the trials, tribulations, and adventures of life, loss, and, love. This song-packed show details the quest of a hopeless romantic's search for suitable lovers. Expect a French flavor, and a good claret!

Ruffelle's NYC performances of this "fun, wild, and reckless" cabaret show have earned her a 2019 BISTRO AWARD for Major Engagement, as well as, a Broadway World nomination for best celebrity solo show. The Manhattan Digest calls it "the best live performance you're likely to see for quite some time."

LogoTV's Michael Musto called it "a refreshingly textured and bracing turn. In great voice, she was part chanteuse, waif, siren, vaudevillian, rocker, and wench, as she performed an exotic swirl of songs."

The multi-talented star is best known for her portrayal of Eponine in the original cast of Les Miserables in London and on Broadway, which won her a Tony Award in 1987 for Best Featured Actress in a Musical and her performance on the Grammy Award winning cast album(s) turned the song 'On My Own' into a classic throughout the world. As a recording artist, she has released five successful solo albums, the most recent of which, I Say Yeh-Yeh, showcases her collaboration with renowned singer/songwriter and producer Gwyneth Herbert. In addition to her stage and music careers, Ms. Ruffelle has a wealth of credits in film and television.
